Jacksonville Brotherhood Of Firefighters

The Jacksonville Brotherhood of Firefighters, Inc. is organized as a charitable organization comprised of active and retired employees of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, corporate sponsors, associate members and volunteers. The JBOF's goal is to encourage members of the community to pursue fire science as a career; provide financial and educational assistance to fire science applicants; assist families devastated by the tragedy of fires ; partner with local profit and nonprofit corporations, civic groups and churches to provide safe after school, summer and weekend programs for school aged children; educate the community in fire safety; promote racial, ethnic, and gender diversity In the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department; assisting the membership and the community fight against prejudicial practices in the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
